Kayshaun Hall was fatally shot Monday evening in the Ashburn neighborhood.
Hall, 17, was walking in an alley in the 8400 block of South Kedzie Avenue when a light-colored sedan pulled up and someone inside shot him in the chest shortly after 5 p.m., authorities said.
The car then drove west on 84th Street, police said.
Hall, of the 2800 block of West 71st Street, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Nobody has been charged with the murder.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
