Arron Feazell was killed in an East Garfield Park shooting that also left a teenager wounded Sunday night.

Feazell and the 17-year-old boy were shot in the 3300 block of West Maypole Avenue about 8:05 p.m. Sunday, authorities said.

Feazell, 46, of the 1400 block of South 10th Street in Maywood, was shot multiple times and was dead at the scene, authorities said.

The 17-year-old was taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital with gunshot wounds to both legs and his hand, police said.

When officers responded to the call of shots fired they saw an armed male near North Homan and West Maypole avenues, police said.

A foot chase ensued that led to at least one officer firing a shot, police said. Nobody was wounded by gunfire from the officer.

Nobody has been charged for the murder.

Area North detectives investigate.
