A 16-year-old boy was shot to death Sunday morning in the Little Village neighborhood.
Victor Martinon was talking to friends on a sidewalk in the 2200 block of South Marshall Boulevard when two people walked up, shouted gang slogans and opened fire about 6 a.m., authorities said.
Martinon, of the 2300 block of South Trumbull Avenue, was shot twice in the chest and died at Mount Sinai Hospital about 30 minutes later, authorities said.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
