Andre B. Johnson Jr. was shot to death in the West Englewood neighborhood early Sunday.
Johnson, 29, was sitting in the front passenger’s seat of a vehicle parked in the 1500 block of West 72nd Street when somebody waled up an opened fire at 4:47 a.m. Sunday, authorities said.
Johnson, of an unidentified home address, was shot in the head and died at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, which ruled the death a homicide.
Nobody has been charged for the murder.
Area South detectives are investigating.
