Fabian Echevarria was fatally shot in the Humboldt Park neighborhood Thursday night.
Emergency personnel found Echevarria shot in the head inside a vehicle in the 900 block of North Mozart Street about 8 p.m., authorities said.
Echevarria, 24, who lived on the block, died at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Nobody has been charged for the killing.
Area Central detectives are investigating if the killing is gang related.
