Robert McClinton shot to death in a parked vehicle Saturday night less than half a mile from his home in the South Side Gresham neighborhood.
McClinton, 28, was sitting in a parked vehicle in an alley in the 8300 block of South Hermitage at 7:32 p.m., according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Someone walked up to the vehicle and shot him in the head
McClinton, of the 8100 block of South Loomis, was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:45 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
