28-year-old Kenneth J. Williams died Monday after being shot last week along with another man in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.
Williams and a 20-year-old man were standing outside in the 7800 block of South Drexel Avenue about 4:50 p.m. June 4 when they heard gunshots and saw two people running away, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Antonio Lampley has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for firing the gun that killed Derrius Drakes in a February incident in the Far South Side Roseland neighborhood.
Lampley, 23, was charged Tuesday with felony involuntary manslaughter for the Feb. 25 shooting in the 11300 block of South Parnell, Chicago Police said.

Richard Rodriquez and Jossean Rueda, both 19, were shot to death early Sunday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.
Rodriquez and Rueda were driving in the 1600 block of North Cicero about 3:50 a.m. when a light-colored vehicle pulled alongside and someone inside fired shots, police said.

Cordarius Lawrence, 24, of the 8000 block of South Marshfield; Darryl Wilson, 21, of the 8100 block of South Justine; and 24-year-old Joshua Martin of the 10600 block of South Church were each charged with first-degree murder for the fatal shooting on Feb. 6, 2014, police said.

A 34-year-old man died in a shooting Friday evening in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.
Laurance Boyd was sitting in a parked vehicle in the 1300 block of West 122nd Street at 6:05 p.m. when a male walked up and fired multiple shots, police said. The shooter then ran off eastbound.
Boyd, of the 12700 block of South May in Calumet Park, was shot twice in the back and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he later died, police said and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
Juan Ugalde was fatally shot Friday night in the Little Village neighborhood where he lived on the Southwest Side.
Ugalde, 27, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the side of his face about 9:55 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Washtenaw, officials said.
Ugalde, of the 2800 block of West 21st Street, was pronounced dead at the scene, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
17-year-old Richard Edwards was killed and an 18-year-old man was injured in a shooting early Saturday in the South Side Bridgeport neighborhood, police said.
About 2:15 a.m., the two had left a party after they were “involved in an altercation,” police said. As they were driving in a van in the 700 block of West 35th Street, a light-colored SUV pulled up and someone inside opened fire, police said.

A man killed in a suspected murder-suicide in the North Side Rogers Park neighborhood Wednesday has been identified.
Two men were found dead in a home in the 1500 block of West Chase about 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
Steven Delatorre, 45, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said Friday.

Officers on patrol near the 1300 block of East 94th Street heard gunfire and found Demetrius M. Peebles shot in the head about 9:45 p.m. Thursday, authorities said.

Graig Stewart has died after being shot Monday afternoon in the Garfield Park neighborhood.
Stewart, 28, was shot in the head about 2 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of North Karlov Avenue, authorities said.
Witnesses told police they had heard gunshots, and when they looked outside they found him lying on the ground, police said.
